Ashok Nagar and the RTC Cross Road area are well known among Hyderabad’s civil services aspirants. Walk through the neighbourhood and you will see many institutes with attractive hoardings. The best way to choose among them is not by reputation alone, but by evaluating each institute carefully, ideally through a demo class. This checklist will help you compare institutes fairly.

Before the Demo Class
- Read the course outline and confirm that Prelims, Mains and interview preparation are all included.
- Check the mentor’s background and years of experience.
- Look at public reviews and feedback from current students.
During the Demo Class
- Does the teacher explain concepts clearly, or only read out points?
- Are current affairs connected to the static syllabus?
- Is there scope to ask questions without hesitation?
- Is the classroom environment focused and disciplined?
After the Demo Class
Ask about batch size, test schedule, answer-evaluation process and how mentors track progress. Request clear information about course duration and what is included. A trustworthy institute will answer these directly and will not pressure you to pay on the spot.

Online Resources vs Classroom Support
Free online content is useful for revision and for exploring topics, but it rarely offers personal evaluation. Combine good online resources with classroom guidance, tests and mentor feedback. This blend keeps costs reasonable while ensuring you receive the accountability and correction that self-study from videos alone cannot provide.
